This method is the easiest way to restart the Firestick. If your Firestick performs slowly or any app doesn’t open, you can go for this method.
Restart the Fire TV Stick via Settings
You can easily restart the Firestick by navigating to the device settings.
Reboot Fire TV [Newer Versions]
1: Turn On the Firestick and click the Settings icon.
2: Select My Fire TV from the list.
3: Under that, click Restart.
4: On the prompt, click the Restart option again to confirm.
5: Now, the Fire TV device will start restarting.
Reboot Fire TV [Older Versions]
1: Click the Settings tab on the Firestick Home screen.

This method involves the use of the Amazon Fire TV app as a virtual remote. You can use this method if your Firestick remote is not working.

2: Launch the Fire TV app after installation and log in to your account.

In this method, you will cut the power supply of your Fire TV to reboot the device. Unplug the Firestick power cable from the wall outlet and the Firestick from the TV. Keep your Firestick static for a while. Then reconnect back to the power source and TV. Then, turn On the device to complete the reboot.
